Innovative Dental Technology to Provide a High Level of Care
Advanced dental technologies for optimal results
In an effort to provide a high level of comprehensive dental care to all of our patients, we use advanced dental technologies at our practice with our proven methods and techniques. We strive to make your experience with us as comfortable and efficient as possible, which is why our office is equipped with innovative dental technologies, including digital x-rays, laser and the air abrasion system.
Our patients enjoy cavity-free smiles with our air abrasion system that can effectively remove tooth decay and cavities without a drill. The instrument works like a mini sandblaster to stream particles across the tooth’s surface to remove decay. This is a very safe procedure and reduces the need for anesthesia because it causes minimal trauma to the mouth. Our patients enjoy faster appointment times and no downtime with the use of air abrasion tool as part of treatment.
Digital x-rays help us capture high-quality, digital images of the teeth and jaw and allow us to perform accurate diagnoses. The images appear on a computer screen shortly after the capture which means both patients and the doctor can review the results together. Digital x-ray machines emit less radiation than traditional machines and using them for your oral consultation can speed up the appointment time.
Another way for us to perform an accurate diagnosis during your oral exam is by using the intraoral camera. This camera allows us to view very precise images of the teeth and gums in real-time. You will be able to see the inside of your mouth on a screen while relaxing in the dental chair and the doctor can show you exactly what types of problems or issues may need to be addressed right away.
This treatment method is well-suited for patients that are prone to developing periodontal disease. Perio Protect helps to manage colonies of bacteria in the mouth to help you maintain optimal oral health. It begins with a chemical therapy treatment to remove bacteria from pockets around the teeth and gums and includes an at-home treatment that only lasts a few minutes per day.
LANAP is the first FDA cleared laser based treatment for gum disease. It is a minimally invasive alternative to traditional gum surgery. Visit our LANAP
